In October, Twisted Cider returned to Dorset from the big smoke to make next year’s batch of cider. If you’ve seen the photos then you will have noticed that we had a little bit of help from our friends. These friends included a pair of Australians – Alex ‘Binksy’ Corley and James ‘Jimmy’ Graham. Hailing from a land of lager and wine, they were keen to learn the art of producing traditional British cider. We were more than happy to show them and very grateful for their help!
Unfortunately (for us) they are departing these shores and returning back down under. Perhaps the tropical climates of the Gold Coast were more appealing than the drizzle of London. Twisted Cider would again like to thank them for all there help and friendship, not only in producing the cider, but at shows, markets, festivals, and with the odd bit of heavy lifting! Ben and Jackson would like to wish them a safe journey home and hope that they can take a few of the cider making techniques us poms have shown them back to Oz!
