Get a taste of Twisted Cider at the Helen Rollason Cancer Charity’s Vintage Day Out (Sunday 27 th June 2021)
The Twisted Cider Dorset HQ nestled away in the rolling cider fields surrounding Spring Farm is so beautiful it can be genuinely hard to leave, but luckily we love touring the many fares, markets and food & drink events around the UK. It’s simply the best way to spread the word about our authentic and passionately made South West cider.
Fresh off the back of our visits to Sherborne Independent Market and Cheltenham Food & Drink Festival, we’re on the road again with the Twisted Cider mobile bar. On the 27 th of June we set up shop at the wonderful Vintage Day Out, ran by the Helen Rollason Cancer Charity. Read on for a bit more info!
A Vintage Day Out: Classic old-fashioned fun for a great cause On Sunday the 27 th June A Vintage Day Out will finally be able to host the 11th edition of the popular vintage gathering after it was put on hold last year by the Covid-19 pandemic. With an emphasis on dressing to impress, this Helen Rollason Cancer Charity event is a magnificent celebration of “all things vintage form a bygone era”.
Located in the historical Cressing Temple Barns near Braintree, A Vintage Day Out takes place in a site that has its roots in the 12th century, where it was given to the Knights Templar. This event is steeped in all kinds of history, from classic cars to the very best in traditional rock’n’roll and beyond!
Speaking of music, the 2021 edition of A Vintage Day Out sees a performance from 50s rock enthusiasts Kingsmen, alongside dancing from LJ’s Jive School that you can even join in on yourself. The entertainment is complemented by a vast array of vintage stalls too, with much of the profits going directly to the Helen Rollason Cancer Charity.

A favourite from our Farmhouse range, this cider is packed with juicy goodness from only the best Dorset apples.
Twisted Cider Stormy Lemonade: Ever wondered what a fusion of quality South West cider and traditional lemonade would taste like? Well, now you don’t have too. Twisted Cider Stormy Lemonade is part of our new range of sparkling ciders, designed with an exceptionally refreshing flavour in mind that is perfect for the British summer.
About the Helen Rollason Cancer Charity
A Vintage Day Out is raising money for the Helen Rollason Cancer Charity an organisation dedicated to enabling quality of life whilst living with cancer. Established in 1991, the charity has been fulfilling the founder Helen Rollason’s
wishes. The famous sports TV presenter sadly passed from colon cancer at just 43, making sure to birth the Hellen Rollason Cancer Charity to help others in her position live comfortably with the devastating illness. A Vintage Day Out 2019 raised almost £13,000 – let’s help increase the total even more for 2021!
