Let’s be honest; there are few places better to drink cider than a music festival, which is why Twisted Cider is especially excited to be bringing our unique brand of authentic South West cider to the Mill Farm Party 2021 this Saturday. Situated at the Mill Farm in Bradford Abbas, this family friendly event is a chance to let your hair down, supporting local musicians and companies in the process.
Running from midday through to 10pm, the line-up features local musicians such as Rip It Up, Jim Penfold of the Hollywood Killers, Flow State and more. It’s going to be quite the day out, and a perfect time to drink our quality Dorset cider too! Mill Farm itself is also a mesmerizing place to be, mainly because it is actually a very well-equipped recording studio. Mill Farm Party 2021: A look at what’s going on
After the heart-breaking cancellation of the original first live gig at Mill Farm at the end of June, it’s incredibly nice to see the Mill Farm Party 2021 going ahead on the 24th of July. The team invite us into a family-friendly festival affair oozing with great vibes and local talent you simply won’t be able to ignore.
Running for a whole 10 hours and situated in a beautifully idyllic farm environment, there is absolutely no doubt that the Mill Farm Party is going to be very special. Especially after restrictions being lifted – dancing is back on the menu!
What is Mill Farm?
We wouldn’t blame you for thinking it was just a farm, but the truth is Mill Farm is actually an incredibly impressive residential recording studio and intimate live venue. Restored by the founders Mark and Anne back in 2014, the farm has been repurposed to offer the crème-de-la-crème of recording equipment and a vast collection of vintage instruments.
This is undeniably a high-end recording studio, boasting a collection of vintage and modern gear ranging from microphones, amplifiers and guitars, all the way through to mixing desks and effects units. The Mill Farm team are also no strangers to throwing intimate live music parties, with their small indoor events venue The Omelette Club. It is truly wonderful to see such a lovely location now also being utilized for an open-air festival of music!

- Stormy Lemonade: As much as we are obsessed with traditional cider at Twisted Cider, we are also always looking to innovate, and that is how Twisted Cider Stormy Lemonade came about. Combining the crisp flavour of our quality South West cider with the refreshing tang of traditional lemonade, this one cannot be missed.
- Misty: A smooth medium cider with a powerful apple aroma, Misty combines the great flavours of the classical Kingston Black, Dymock Red, Harry Masters Jersey and Stoke Red. Crushed and pressed together the cider is earthy with a slight astringent aftertaste.
